We Made Stickers, Keychains, and Transparent Photo Cards Using Real Flower PNGs

PNG Heaven journal

What happens when PNG Heaven’s real flower PNGs leave the screen and turn into something you can hold?

We wanted to find out. So we picked a few of our real flower PNGs and had them made into stickers, acrylic keychains, and transparent photo cards.

Making Stickers with Real Flower PNGs

Stickers came first.

We chose flowers with lovely natural shapes, stems and leaves included, and grouped a mix of them together on a single sticker sheet.

Since every flower was already cut out on a transparent background, putting the sheet together was easy. We just resized, moved, and combined them, with no background removal or fiddly editing needed.

When the stickers arrived, they felt quite different from the flowers we’d been looking at on screen.

The small shifts in petal color and the texture of the leaves came through clearly in print, which gave them a look you don’t get from illustrated flower stickers.

They looked especially good on plain surfaces like white paper and kraft paper, where the flowers’ natural colors really stood out.

We Tried Them in a Journal, Too

Naturally, we wanted to see them in use.

We put some of the stickers into journals and notebooks to see how they’d fit into everyday creative projects.

One flower on its own made a nice little accent, and a few different flowers together turned into small bouquets and arrangements.

Even though they’re printed from photos, the transparent backgrounds make them look almost like real flowers that were cut out and placed right on the page.

They’re a great fit for journaling, scrapbooking, handmade cards, gift wrapping, and all kinds of paper crafts.

Next, We Made Acrylic Keychains

We also turned the same flower PNGs into acrylic keychains.

This gave the flowers a whole new feel.

Clear acrylic pairs really well with images that have no background. Cutting each keychain along the flower’s natural outline made them look a bit like tiny preserved flowers set in clear acrylic.

Clipped onto a bag or pouch, they stood out more than we expected.

It was fun to see how one PNG could feel so different just by changing the material and how it’s used.

We Also Made Transparent Photo Cards

Our last experiment was transparent photo cards.

This turned out to be one of the most natural fits for our flower PNGs. With the backgrounds already transparent, the flowers can be placed anywhere on the card while everything around them stays clear.

The result looks like flowers floating inside the card.

Things got really interesting when we held the cards up against different backdrops. The same design changes depending on what’s behind it, whether that’s a wall, the sky, a book, a desk, or an outdoor view.

With a regular printed card, the background is fixed. Here, whatever surrounds the card becomes part of the design.

It’s a simple idea, but it shows how much a high-resolution PNG with a transparent background can do.

One PNG, So Many Possibilities

Stickers, acrylic keychains, and transparent photo cards are just a few of the things you can make with real flower PNGs.

You can use them digitally for journaling, collages, and graphic design, or bring them into print and products like wedding invitations, greeting cards, posters, packaging, stickers, photo cards, and acrylic keychains.

Our favorite part of this project was seeing how much the same flower could change depending on its size, placement, material, and purpose.

The flowers at PNG Heaven don’t have to stay on a screen.

Getting to hold them in our hands was one of the best parts of this little experiment.

This time, we worked with fresh flowers.

Next up, we’ll be seeing what we can make with our pressed flower PNGs.
