How We Turn Real Photographs Into PNG Assets
Every PNG at PNG Heaven starts with a real photograph. Here’s a look at the process — from uploading the original photo to carefully refining the final transparent PNG.
From photo to transparent PNG
A simple process, with the final details refined by hand.
Upload the Photo
We start with an original photograph taken by us. The image is uploaded at its original resolution so as much natural detail as possible is preserved.
Create the Cutout
The background is removed to create a transparent PNG, separating the subject from its original surroundings.
Refine It by Hand
We manually inspect and refine the edges and small details to produce a clean asset that is ready to use in design work.
What we like most about this process is how different an object can feel once it is removed from its surroundings.
A flower photographed outdoors can look completely different when it becomes an isolated design element on a transparent background. Tiny details in the petals, leaves and natural imperfections suddenly become much more noticeable.
We don't generate these subjects with AI. The original subjects are real, the photographs are ours, and the final cutouts are prepared from those photographs.
We're continuing to photograph and process new subjects, so the PNG Heaven collection will keep growing over time.
